The nominations held December 31, 2021 still did not have a host or a televised location. This is due to the continued controversy of not address the lack of diversity and questionable business practices the Golden Globes did not address from years past. There was a lackluster interest from celebrities and sponsors to participate with the continued unaddressed concerns from years past. The ceremony continued with announcements made on Twitter during the private event Sunday January 9, 2022. The evening was missing the party the Golden Globes is.

Very few celebrities have responded on social media accounts. IMBD has updated many accounts with the winners of the Golden Globe.
