Comedian Nate Bargatze will host the 77th Primetime Emmy Awards. This is his first time hosting a major awards show.

The 77th Emmy Awards mark a turning point: streaming and cable dominate, but broadcast still has strong contenders. Comedy and drama categories are filled with both fresh breakout hits and established critical darlings. In the comedy category, there will be competition between The Bear and Abbott Elementary. The drama category, The Last of Us and Severance, is expected to be a tight race.

stream live and on demand on Paramount+. Creative Arts Emmy Awards filmed this past weekend, Sept. 6 – 7, the ceremonies will air Saturday, Sept. 13 at 8:00 PM, ET/PT on FXX.
