The 77th Emmy Awards mark a turning point: streaming and cable dominate, but broadcast still has strong contenders. Comedy and drama categories are filled with both fresh breakout hits and established critical darlings. In the comedy category, there will be competition between The Bear and Abbott Elementary. The drama category, The Last of Us and Severance, is expected to be a tight race.

The Last of Us leads drama with 24 nominations.
The Bear dominates comedy with 22 nominations, including acting nods for Jeremy Allen White and Ayo Edebiri.
Severance and The White Lotus continue to be award powerhouses, pulling in multiple nominations for acting, directing, and writing.
Limited series The Penguin made a splash with 14 nominations, showing strong momentum for comic-based adaptations.

Creative Arts Emmy Awards filmed this past weekend, Sept. 6 – 7, the ceremonies will air Saturday, Sept. 13 at 8:00 PM, ET/PT on FXX.

So, let’s get right to it. I am going to show you how to achieve this perfect filterless look.
The first thing we are going to do is apply the “Glow Up Primer.” Yes ladies, finally a primer that is clean, light weight, nourishes and moisturizes. It is infused with hyaluronic acid and goji berry. The secret to this long-lasting glow look is apply the primer first, followed by your moisturizer.
Next step is to apply “Halo Glow Liquid Filter,” which is filled with squalene and hyaluronic acid, this gives you glowing skin. You are going to apply e.l.f. Cosmetics beauty blender or buffing foundation brush. When applying you are going to use the “stippling effect brush” by tapping it into the skin until blended. After applying the foundation, it is that time to bake and set with the setting powder. Yes, that is right “powder.” The difference is e.l.f. There is a lot of large puffy sleeves on the red carpet fashion. This is such a joyous time after a year of very little fashion shows and red carpet. Golden Globes Showtime
The first ever bi-coastal Golden Globes. The audience is first responders from New York and Los Angeles. What a. great night. As Sean James, hair stylist to Jamie Curtis, states, “I feel like we are all going to be OK!” It really did make it feel all will be well.
First winner had a little difficulty but was able to make his speech thanking the crew, and cast. John Boyega, winner of Best Performance by an Actor in a Supporting Role in a Series, Limited Series or Motion Picture Made for Television is wearing track pants with his suit jacket and dress shirt. He did not expect to win this evening. Ben Stiller enjoys a perfect banana bread loaf he made during the pandemic on stage. Guess that is the food for the evening.
The 2021 Golden Globe Ambassadors are, Satchel and Jackson Lee, children of filmmaker and three-time Golden Globe nominee Spike Lee and producer and philanthropist Tonya Lewis Lee. Golden Globes honor Jane Fonda with the Cecil B. deMille Award, and Norman Lear with the Carol Burnett Award.
Lear started with the Cold Deep Comedy Hour. He woke people before people were woke. He is still making television at the young age of 98 years young. Lear states, “laughter add time one’s life.” Fonda, made her first film in 1960, Tall Story. She states “we are humans firsts. . . expand that tent so that everyone rises.”
