This year, for the first time, a similar fantasy bra will be open for purchase on Nov. 29, 2018. It will have Swarovski crystals for $250at select Victoria’s Secret locations.

Milk Bar NYC
Milk Bar NYC
Super excited to try crack pie and coffee for breakfast. This is a planned find in NYC. Watching Chef’s Table on Netflix. I knew I needed to try Milk Bar. This is Christine Tosi’s and is part of the Manhattan-based Momofuku restaurant. This is my first stop in the morning. The little shop has great cookies, cakes, pies, and bagel bombs. I order an iced coffee, bagel bomb with spinach, and crack pie. The bagel bomb is warm and filled with spinach and cheese. It is a nice bite for the start of touring NYC. I save the crack pie for a little later, but it is delicious. The filling is something like a custard, but buttery. The oat crust is light and flaky. This is a must stop and see.
Lagomarcino’s Confectionery Moline Illinois
Lagomarcino’s Confectionery in Moline IL is worth a diversion on any road trip. It is operated by 4th generation of Tom Lagomarcino Sr. They received a James Beard Award in 2006.

This 110-year-old soda shop is a true find in the middle of nowhere. They have the true old-fashioned feel. The have a soda counter, sandwich shop, homemade ice cream, and beautiful chocolates. The originals owners meet at a soda shop and married in 1949. They had six children and they were famous for their fudge sauce. The shop started reselling the fudge sauce with their 100-year anniversary.
Taking my father here was such a treat. He recalled the stories of going to soda shop his uncle owned as a child. He talked about Ironport soda, a Utah tradition. It is a cross between root beer and Caribbean spices. He went for the hot fudge sundae (a surprise at the bottom was more fudge).
I went for their famous chocolate shake. We took salted caramel milk chocolates, dark marble truffle, pumpkin fudge chocolate, coconut dark chocolate, tiramisu dark chocolate truffle, and orange peel for the road. A few went home to mother.
The decor in the store is old newspaper headliners. Handcrafted mahogany booths to enjoy your sandwich, soda, and dessert. The had beautiful marbled truffles. It was a true sensory experience with the sights, sounds, and smells. They were fabulous.
Sweet Shoppe Candy Store Flagstaff Arizona
Exploring Route 66 in the infamous town of Flagstaff AZ there is the Sweet Shoppe Candy Store. This fudge shop with a lollipop garden, taffy, homemade fudge, covered apples with a vast variety, and scrumptious chocolates.
This store has many great old-fashion fun with a great modern twist. It is located on 15 E Aspen Ave right off Route 66. They have so much to select from. Foodie Ellie had a big interest in the fudge but went with a sprinkled covered marshmallow.
They have homemade gelato. The chocolate is creamy and sweet. The best was the chocolate covered caramel (homemade there) with sea salt sprinkled on top.
This is a must stop when visiting Wilmington You can smell the sweetness down the street. This is just the start of the sensory experience provided. When entering the story your eyes are drawn to all the beautiful handcrafted chocolates and sweets. Located in the Historic Downtown. Ice cream is a popular treat in Wilmington. Kilwins makes bomb waffle cones, exceptional chocolates, and it is worth the wait.
They make their own ice cream from their original recipe with 40 premium, unique and delicious flavors including Mackinac Island Fudge. They use local farms for ingredients. The chocolate creations are amazing.
Sweet Country Charm Payson Arizona
Sweet Country Charm Candy Shop
TheSweet Country Charm Candy Shop is a quant fudge shop in Payson Arizona is a sweet location. Taking the drive up from Phoenix to go from the Sonoran Desert to the high desert landscapes. It is a beautiful drive. This shop is located on the Beeline Highway. Entering the shop it is a location to meet and enjoy the treats.
The shop was a great location for local crafters to sell their artisan work. Customers would bring up the fudge shop that hd been there. Rebecca Acord, the shop owner, decided to take a few cooking classes and incorporate the fudge and treats with the art.
This sweet treat reminded me of fudge at Christmas as a child. It is creamy and smooth. The aroma of chocolate and sweet are immediate when entering the shop. The visual is colorful and enticing. The sounds of community members talking about local news fills the room. The touch of the fudge is not crumbly but firm. The taste is incredible sweet and luscious. The varieties to choose from are a great treat to take home to enjoy later.
Just off the main street in Battle Ground is Battle Ground Sweet Shoppe & Bakery. Main street is very much the center of shopping local artisans and produce. You can enjoy a local bar, restaurant, and shopping exceptional creations and antiques. It is a great stroll of all that is old town in a small town.
Just off your stroll is the local sweet shop. This shop has a great selection of bar cookies, cupcakes, cakes, brownie, ice cream bar, hot cocoa bombs, and more. Would not be a Pacific Northwest business without great coffee to enjoy with the desserts.
You are surrounded by baked sweets. There are so many to choose from you do not know what to choose. The pandemic has changed how many in the state are able to enjoy dinning. The treats are delicious and hand crafted. The location can manage weddings, catering, and just a sit down for dessert and coffee as you shop.
The atmosphere is a cozy and warm from the rainy winter day, this soon turned to 12″ of snow. The desserts went well with dinner. We enjoyed brownie, caramel toffee bar, and red velvet pop cakes.
Honeymoon Sweets Bakery & Dessert Bar Tempe Arizona
The honeymoon maybe over but the bakery and sweet creations continue at Honeymoon Sweets Bakery & Dessert Bar. This is a locally owned and operated business. Co-Owners and Bakers Tim and Joan O’Connor met in culinary school. They create cakes, cookies, breakfast pastries, pies, tarts, and petit sweets.
They cater to major corporations, drop-by visitors, and special-event guests. The shop has a great display of goodies for the public to stop by for a treat or two. This is a fun place to stop for a treat or two or dessert for a dinner party. The treats are as tasty as they are beautiful.
Cincinnati Ohio, my niece and I stop by Abby Girl Sweets Cupcakes. This was a delightful find in the lobby of the Hilton Netherlands Hotel lobby. This little shop has a variety of sweet and moist cupcakes. We enjoyed the coconut, black raspberry chip, red velvet, and peanut butter cup. They were perfect after a long of competition at the USA Gymnastics event.
This business is owned and operated by Nathan & Andrea Thompson (husband and wife). The name comes from their daughter, Abby Girl, she is the top taster for the cupcakes. The cupcakes are sweet and well-flavored.
This was a wonderful road trip in the Midwest especially seeing family. It is always good connecting with your brother and his family. They have six fantastic children. Burt’s Bees Facial Cleansing Towelettes With White Tea Extract to the rescue it saved the hotel white towels. It was a wonderful time traveling through the Midwest. There is plenty to see and do from art to culture and outdoor adventures. It is a beautiful part of the country with friendly people.

Fall is a great time of year for new exciting trends in beauty. Keeping up with the changes in the weather keeps your skin and hair beautiful.
Hair Care and Trends
Hair Trends
Hair Care for Fall
Scalp care is valuable during the fall months. The weather change brings strong winds and drier air outside. This can cause dry scalp, hair loss, and brittle ends.
Proper scalp care is important to prevent the dry scalp and hair loss. Mon Shampooing from France this is a great parabin and sulfate-free all-natural lime. The Perfumed Styling Mist is a must to revitalize and freshen your style and hair. You can add your favorite essential oils.
Magic Scalp is a great stimulation for the scalp and hair growth. This is a vibrating mind shaking, stress melting experience. This is a great waterproof conditioning treatment to use in the shower or watching TV with your partner. We have a special offer for you our readers. Use promo code SEAN40 (case sensitive) to get $40 off the regular price here.
Volume is a must this season. You can choose straight, curly, or wavy make sure to add volume. FHI Heat has a great voluminous that is a non-sticky for medium to long hair. Great discount for the entire website FHI Heat brand use Sean20 at checkout. Thank you Sean James, hairstylist to the celebrities including Kim Kardashian and Jamie Lee Curtis, for the hair care tips.
Hair Trends for Fall
The 90s are here with the big hair, high bangs, and loose curly look. Even if you were not around for the 90s it will be something fun and flirty to do with your hair.
Hair accessories include the scrunchies from the 1990s, tiaras, and thin headbands. Create a headband with a nice braid wrapped around your head.
Skin Care and Makeup Trends
Fall Makeup Trends
This is a time of year to moisturize. The wind and drier air can cause chapped lips, cracked feet, and dry skin. Transitioning your skin care is important to maintain healthy glowing skin.
Fall Skin Care
Oil of Olay has a great trial kit to get you started on your way to healthy fall skin. This set provides a rich citrus smell with deep cleaning cleanser, daily cleanser for gently exfoliating the skin from the dry skin leaving bright and healthy. The vitamin-rich formula is exceptional for anti-aging.
Eye care is key in fall with allergies, dryness, and wind. Make sure to keep wearing your sunglasses, wash your hands, and it is a good time of year to have your eyes checked.
The eye cream is essential to keep the sensitive skin around your eyes. Use an eye cream with hydration.
Beauty Lip Care
Lips tend to start drying and peeling this time of year. Hydration is key this time of year. Increase your water intake and remember that you may need more water if you drink coffee, soda, tea, or alcohol during the day.
The tip for your lips is the Do Kiss and Tell Lipscrub Brush®. This is replacing the old toothbrush trick. This provides a wonderful way to exfoliate your lips. This the first ever developed specifically for healthier kissable lips.
Best routine for the day is getting your lipstick then use the LaMonique lip- gloss on top. This keeps lips moist and avoids chapping. It is great to vamp up your lip color. The natural light reflects the minerals adding glitz and glam to your lipstick.
LaMonique Cosmetics is a fabulous makeup brand. This is a product that I have been using recently. Love the entire line. The best of the makeup line is the lip simmer and illuminator. The prodcuts are pure, affordable, and natural. The lip simmer is so wonderful as this season my lip color is lighter than the deep reds and purples from season past. The lip simmer is perfect with a pop of glitz and glitter on the lighter tones. This captures natural lights adding a subtle pop. The illuminator is so perfect to get a nice highlight on the upper part of your check.
Fall Makeup Trends
There are trends to blend over from summer with the dark deep red lip. This is fabulous for the holidays. Will look fabulous with the metallic dresses in style.
Monochromatic is all the rage in fashion and carries over with makeup. Pink is the hot color and pink eye shadow and blush is a great look with monochromatic styling. You may want to add some pink appliques as well to your makeup routine.
Eyebrows are best natural shape and fullness. Rapid Brow Eyebrow Enhancing Serum is good for eyebrows that are thin. Serum will help to re-grow or fill in your eyebrows.
Eyeliner is fun and dramatic. It is bold and thick. Create bold lines on the top and bottom then add a wing or dramatic shape. We recommend L’Oreal Voluminous Mascara to finish off the eyes.
Have fun with beauty trends this season while creating your own personal style. Post your selfies using #4ChionStyle we look forward to seeing your style.

Emmys 70th Party Red Carpet
The Emmys Red Carpet brought a great selection of fashion and personal style. The colors of the evening include blush, rose gold, green, and red. There was a lot of tulle, taffeta, pleats, and prints. The seasonal mix was strong with summer and fall styling and fashion. The fashion is more formal with some daring moments.

Emmys 70th Party Red Carpet Formal
The red carpet is one time to get the glam out and put together a perfect look. There were so many who took the traditional formal look. A few that caught our eye include:
Kristen Bell is wearing Laura Taylor & Ryan Holliday-Stevens. It is straight neckline and sleeves sheer sleek modern and edgy. The styling, Nicole Chavez, includes Forever Mark jewels, a simple sweepback for the hair done by Christine Symond, and makeup Amyoresman with a nude sheer gloss.
Millie Bobby Brown is wearing Calvin Klien. This fun pink print dress is just above the ankle showing off her soft pink pointed kitty cat heels. It is off the shoulder with little bows. She accentuated with gold bracelets and rings, and a simple silver necklace.
Sandra Oh is wearing Ralph & Russo plunging neckline with great texture and glitzy with garnet-colored stones along the plunging neckline, waist and sleeves, hair down, and diamonds on her wrist.
Heidi Klum brings all the stops in Zac Posen pastel peach strapless dress. This is a wonderful gown for her perfect figure. She accessories with a choker necklace from Lorraine Schwartz. Her glam evening tip is to lay down in the car to keep your dress from wrinkling.

Emmys 70th Party Red Carpet Personal Style Moments
Red carpets are always a wonderful time to share your personal style. There are many who take the time to present personal messages, stories, and style. It brings fun and adventure to the red carpet. A few with some personal styling moments:
Tracee Ellis Ross wearing a hot pink voluminous Valentino haute couture. The voluminous fuchsia taffeta looked like a large fluffy floating cloud. A lot of fun. Her eyeshadow is orange with blurred lipstick (a popular trend on the red carpet). Her hair is slicked back curls.
Leslie Jones rocked the red carpet with a Christian Siriano. This colorful pantsuit is a great personal look. Every time she moves the colors change on the pantsuit. The jacket has just one button for a nice peek-a-boo. Her clutch is from Judith Leiber and jewelry Jordan Alexander. Keeping with the fun personal style she is wearing her hair in a modified spiked mohawk. Her eye makeup a smokey eye with a light-toned lip.
Tiffany Haddish brings a personal message to the red carpet wearing a custom gown by designer Prabal Gurung. This dress is an inspiration from the Eritrean flag, the country in northeastern Africa, her father’s home country. The dress is voluminous and fun to twirl around. This dress fits her personality of love and happiness. She is wearing Tattoo earrings with white diamonds by Lorraine Schwartz.
Nnedi Okorafor, Game of Thornes creator, wears art on the red carpet with a hand-painted by V Kottavei Richmond and the dress designer Therez Fleetwood.
Deon Cole continues his tuxedos with bold patterns. This tux by Gucci is in wild patterns. He keeps the traditional bow tie and white pleated wingtip tuxedo shirt.
RuPaul Charles loves the pink suits for the Creative Arts red carpets. 2016 he graced the red carpet in a hot pink polka-dot suit. This year is a solid hot pink suit (a trend color for the red carpet). The Emmys Primetime he wears a white double-breasted suit. He has a classic button-up shirt, pop of color with Calvin’s pointy-toe, tangerine orange Western boots with a Cuban heel. He completes the sex appeal (accessories) with a black clutch and cocktail ring. All suits designed by Calvin Klein. He always states, If you don’t love yourself, how in the hell are you gonna love somebody else?” He lives this every day in his personal style.
The red carpet evening was filled with great friendships, reunions, talents, and beautiful fashion. You can see the full red carpet here. What is your favorite look from the Emmys red carpet? Please use # 4ChionStyle on social media.
