Lifetime Achievement Award
This year’s SAG Awards will also honor Helen Mirren with the Lifetime Achievement Award. Mirren states, “I am honored to have been chosen to receive the SAG Life Achievement Award®,” said Mirren. “Since I was a young actor starting out, I have always been inspired by and learned from American screen acting, so this award is particularly meaningful for me.”
Her current work is Golda in the title role of Golda Meir. She is also set to host Harry Potter: Hogwarts Tournament of Houses, a four-part competition series.
SAG-AFTRA® President Fran Drescher said, “Dame Helen Mirren is quite simply a brilliant and luminous talent. Her work runs the gamut of characters from a not-so-retired CIA super-killer and a ruthless Russian spy handler to a Hungarian cleaning lady and the most exquisite Elizabeth II. She has set the bar very high for all actors and, in role after role, she exceeds even her own extraordinary performances. I’ve always felt a kinship with Helen. She’s the Queen of England and I’m the Queen of Queens.”

This year the sea of gold, Feathers, fringe, embellishment, trains, and trumpet gowns. Men took to adding flairs with lining, colors, and even prints tuxedos. The carpet fills with the top actors and actress of television and movie.
Lady Gaga wears an all white Dior gown (taken right from last week’s runway). It has a sense of Marilyn Monroe’s famous white dress. The slit goes to her waist she is wearing a white bodice suit.
Fiona Xiis wearing the playful gown of the evening. It is a Schiaparelli haute couture gown. The gown is colorful tulle.
The classic couple of the night celebrates their recent marriage. They meet at an EW Party three years ago. They are truly couple goals looking classic on the red carpet. Jessica Blair Herman is wearing beautiful red gown and Allen Leech in a classic black tux.
Rachel Bloom loved the slit in her gold gown to cool her ankles. Cristina Ottaviano designed the gown.
Miriam Shor made sure to wear her spanx, but did wear a beautiful white gown by Narciso Rodriguez instead of just her spanx.
Glenn Close wears her grandmother’s wedding ring in honor of her. The grandmother dreamed of being an actress. Her grandmother dedicated her life to her family (similar to the character she is nominated this evening).
Jon Chu, Crazy Rich Asian director, has Crazy Rich Asian printed on green statin inside jacket and on his handkerchief that has the film name on green statin need actor’s name and designer. His tuxedo designer is ESQ Clothing.
Alison Brie brings the bow on the dresses to a new height. It took four people to get her into it the dress. She is also sewn into the dress.

Screen Actors Guild (SAGS) 25th annual awards is just a few hours away. This year the ccelebrity–filledparty starts off with a toast on the red carpet, continues with the best in entertainment, and finishes with a star-studded dinner catered by Wolfgang Puck.

SAG Award® nominee Jon Huertas (This Is Us) will join Vitalie Taittinger, Global Spokesperson and Artistic Director for Champagne Taittinger, for a toast that will herald the start of arrivals for the 25th Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards®.
The Champagne Taittinger Toast will kick-off the SAG Awards arrivals as it has every year since 2001. The family-owned Champagne House will ask actors entering the SAG Awards showroom to sign a Nebuchadnezzar (15 liter) bottle of Champagne Taittinger. For every signature, Taittinger will contribute additional funds for the Foundation’s critical Emergency Assistance program.

The Silver Anniversary arrangements, created by CJ Matsumoto & Sons, inspiration is the harmony of a much-loved garden, expressed with a simple monochromatic palette of burgundies. Green highlights accentuate the marriage of burgundies with their silver containers.
The event flowers after the event they will deliver over 100 petite arrangements to victims of sexual violence and domestic abuse at local women’s shelters and emergency treatment centers.

These recipes are servied at Cooper’s Hawk Winery & Restaurants viewing parties nationwide.
Arugula, Honeycomb, Pear & Blue Cheese Salad with Warm Vinaigrette
4 tbsp white balsamic vinegar 2 tsp Dijon mustard 4 one-inch x one-inch square pieces of Savannah Bee Honeycomb with 1 tsp honey 8 Tbsp Sky Organics extra-virgin olive oil Salt and pepper 8 large handfuls arugula (about 24 ounces) 1 barely ripe pear, cored and sliced thin 6 ounces soft blue cheese Directions
Whisk together the balsamic vinegar, mustard, and 1 teaspoon honey in a small saucepan over low heat. Gradually pour in the olive oil and continue whisking until the dressing has emulsified. Season with salt and pepper.
Divide the arugula between four plates. Top each salad with a honeycomb square and equally divide sliced pear and blue cheese, then drizzle with warm vinaigrette.
Classic Tomato Bruschetta
3 pieces soft Italian bread 3 oz burrata 3 oz grape tomatoes, cut in ¼’s 1 pinch kosher salt 1 tbl white balsamic vinegar 1⁄8 tsp garlic, finely chopped ¾ tsp shallot, finely minced 1 ½ tsp basil, freshly chopped 2 tbl extra virgin olive oil 1 cup baby arugula ½ each fresh lemon 1 tsp extra virgin olive oil ½ tsp Maldon flaky sea salt fresh cracked black pepper butter Directions
Slice bread approximately ½” thick. Brush both sides with soft butter and grill on both sides to make crispy and create grill marks.
In a small bowl, mix grape tomatoes with 2 tbsp of extra virgin olive oil and set aside.
Gather bruschettas and cut evenly in half.
With a small spatula or spoon, place an even, thin layer of strachiatella on each piece of bread.
In a small bowl, combine the baby arugula, lemon, and extra virgin olive oil with half the Maldon flaky sea salt and a grind of fresh black pepper. Mix well until evenly coated. Spread evenly over the plate.
Mix the tomatoes and sauce one more time and place even amounts on each piece of bruschetta.
Arrange them over the arugula.
Garnish each piece of bruschetta with the remaining Maldon flaky sea salt.

The evening red carpet brought back muted color and bold prints. The black and pins from the Golden Globes missing on this night. Mackenzie Hancsiczak from This is Us wore a beautiful drop waist A-line with box pleats tail.The gown designed by Pol Atteu Couture with Patrik Simpson and Snow White 90201 in Beverly Hills. You can follow his designs on YouTube at Gown and Out in Beverly Hills channel. The fabric is a metallic french brocade imported from Paris. The color purple is her grandmother’s favorite color. Her necklace created from her grandparents’ wedding rings.

Samira Wiley brought the night sky to the red carpet in a gorgeous Tadashi Shoji gown, Jimmy Choo shoes and clutch, diamond drop earrings L’Dezen by Payal Shah and tanzanite and diamond ring Le Vian. Her hair was slicked back. She walked the red carpet with her wife, Lauren Morelli, American writer, she wore a beautiful black gown complimenting the night sky.

The night continued with honoring top film and television for 2017. Kristen Bell hosted the night and took the time to roast the all-female presenters. The evening could be counted as a predictor for the Academy Awards, with Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri taking home four statues. The evening concludes with a great after party with Cooper’s Hawk Winery & Restaurants, the lifestyle brand centered around wine and focused on creating memorable moments. This is the first year Cooper’s Hawk Winery and Restaurant will be hosting the evening party. Throughout the evening they will give a great tasting experience for the nominees, presenters, and attendees. The following cocktails will be enjoyed by the celebrities during the evening.
“The Dailies” features Clase Azul Plata Tequila blended with orange liqueur and a medley of the freshest organic pomegranate, lime, and lemon juices, garnished with lime and mint.
“Hit Your Mark” starts with Chopin Potato Vodka and apple liqueur, then mixes in fresh, crisp apple juice and subtly tart blueberry juice, topped with an apple/blueberry garnish to bring out the flavors.
“The Call Back,” is a twist on a classic, harmonizing Portobello Road Gin with Fever Tree Tonic and deep red grenadine, topped off with a bright shave of grapefruit skin.
